Chickamauga Battlefield Horse Trails

About 14 miles of marked horse trail in Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park: the Red loop (7.7 mi), the White trail (5.4 mi) and the Blue connector (0.7 mi). Horses must stay on the marked trails and are not allowed on park roads or in the historic fields. The only place to unload horses and park trailers is the trailer lot on Chickamauga-Vittetoe Road on the west side of the park. The only drinking water is at the visitor center.
