Jacks River Fields Campground

Remote Forest Service campground on the South Fork of the Jacks River that accepts horses and mules, with horse corrals, hitching posts and day-use trailer parking. The multi-use South Fork Trail leaves from the campground and gives access to the Cohutta Wilderness trail system. Seven first-come sites with a vault toilet and no water. Access is over 15 miles of steep, narrow gravel road, and trailers over 25 feet are not recommended.
